Family Meal Plan 2017 - Week 15

Weekly Meal Plan Ideas sharing real food for real families. Save time and money by planning easy menus for your family.

Happy Monday friends! Are you lucky enough to be on Spring Break this week? Sadly, we only get a long weekend, centered around Easter. While I am happy for the break, it's not really long enough for a family getaway. We are also starting the week with lacrosse games and practices.

Do you celebrate Easter? Or Passover? Are you the main cook for these traditional family meals? Our family celebrates Easter, and my mom is the chief chef. I contribute my Pineapple Stuffing every year. It is FAR from a healthy dish, but rather a yummy accompaniment to the main dish, ham.  It's been a while, so I am looking forward to sitting down with my extended family and enjoying a great meal. My mom also sends plenty of leftovers home with us!

With only a partial week of school, lacrosse games and practices and Easter on Sunday, this will prove to be a busy week. With that in mind, here's what we have planned for this week:

Monday - Burgers and Hot Dogs on the Grill
Tuesday - Rotisserie Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Cornbread
Wednesday - Tortellini of some sort. What's your favorite quick pasta recipe?
Thursday - Pot Roast, Potatoes and Carrots in the Instant Pot
Friday - Pizza Night! Take out or we'll make our own.
Saturday - YOYO (You're On Your Own) and hopefully we clean out the refrigerator!
Sunday -Easter Dinner! I contribute my Pineapple Souffle/Stuffing every year.
