Weekly Family Meal Plan 2017 - Week 11
Happy Monday friends! If you're new here welcome to my weekly meal plan. If you are an old-timer or returning visitor, thanks for coming back. Each Monday, I post our real-life family meal plan for all the world to see. If you pop in for dinner, chances are good, we will be having what I posted for that day. It's hard to know what's real on the internet these days, but I try hard to share my real life, in hopes of making yours, just a little bit easier.
So this week, we have two kids with spring sports kicking off big time AND a major snow storm moving in. Yes, I know it's March 13th . . .but Mother Nature seems to think a foot of snow on Tuesday is a good idea. So late last week, I went to the store and bought ALL. THE. THINGS. Which as you know, also means I forgot a ton of stuff.
With our schedule completely in limbo for this week because of snow, I really struggled with a plan, because each night depends on what is actually happening: Will school be closed, will John make it home from work, will the kids have practice? So with all that in mind, here's what we have planned for this week, with the knowledge that it could get shuffled around a bit:
Monday - Pre-Snow Tortellini Soup and Bread
Tuesday - SNOW DAY (we hope) Breakfast for Dinner
Wednesday - Rigatoni with Meatballs and Salad
Thursday - Homemade Chicken Fingers (as wraps or with Salad for adults)
Friday - Pizza Night - Homemade Dough
Saturday - YOYO (You're On Your Own)
Sunday -Family Dinner Out
What do you have planned for dinner this week? Share your ideas here in the comments, or join us over on Facebook, to talk all things meal planning!
