Meal Planning 2016 - Week 44

Weekly Meal Plan - Real Food for Real Families

Happy Monday meal planners! Welcome back to another weekly meal plan. I hope you can find an idea to inspire you here this week. Today is Halloween. For the past several years, I have made a big batch of Easy Slow Cooker Chili for the grown ups and some Mummy Dogs for the kids on Halloween. It's something that I can make and forget about it, and everyone can eat when they're hungry, without mesing up the trick or treat schedule. (It's all about priorities - right?)

But while celebrating Halloween on a Monday puts our week off to a busy start, luckily it calms down after that, and we can return to a pretty typical weekly meal plan. On an average week, I prepare 3-4 meals "from scratch". They don't have to be fancy, but three or four nights a week, I cook dinner using real food ingredients, like lean meats and seasonal vegetables. It doesn't have to be difficult, but it does take a little organization to find your own meal planning groove.
