Black T-Shirt and Jeans, Perfect for Fall

There is nothing easier than a t-shirt and jeans. It is my go-to "uniform" of choice. Depending on the t-shirt, jeans and the way you accessorize, this basic outfit can take you from coffee with a friend to a night out. Today, let's talk about a simple fall look: a black t-shirt and jeans.

Jeans - Ann Taylor Modern Skinny | Top - Aventura Clothing Zoe Top | Shoes - Clarks | Necklace - Studio Jewel | Earrings - Stella and Dot | Bracelets - Alex and Ani and Tiffany

I recently received my Fall Aventura Clothing Ambassador package. It is filled with goodies that I can't wait to share with you. Sadly, the weather around here has been less than cooperative, so the pieces have remained in the box. But last week, we got a great blast of cool and crisp fall air, and I couldn't resist pulling something out.

That something was their Zoe Top. I was a little worried because this top looks as if it cut a little more form-fitting than some of their others . . .and it is. I ordered a L/XL to compensate for my chest and it fit great, with the right amount of stretch. I love how it runs a little long too, I'm not a fan of tops getting shorter again!

I love the weathered medallion pattern on this top. It comes in four colors if black isn't your thing. But I love a great black t-shirt and jeans. If it's on the warm side, you can wear a great pair of flats, or if it's cooler, take out your favorite pair of booties. I have a feeling this top will get a lot of wear this fall.

The Zoe Top is also eco-friendly, one of the many reasons I love Aventura Clothing. It's made of a soft organic-cotton and modal blend and is machine washable.  I wore my new Studio Jewel necklace I picked up during Lisa's big birthday sale. It's quickly becoming my favorite accessory!

How do you style a black t-shirt and jeans?

I am also still incorporating many of the pieces I received last fall into my wardrobe this fall. Take a peek and see how:  A First Glimpse of Fall.
