Meal Planning - 2016 Week 30

Weekly Meal Plan Ideas sharing real food for real families. Save time and money by planning easy menus for your family.

Oh summer . . .I do adore you, even when you're hotter than Hades. It's been pretty steamy here in the Philadelphia suburbs, which means lots of indoor family time (think video game marathons and family movies). But the heat also means a total lack of motivation on my part!

For a few weeks now, I have been without any inspiration for meal planning. I blame the heat. But this week, armed with some ideas from my magazine stash, I have some new ideas for you! I'm keeping it healthy, light and easy. Ryan will eat everything on the menu this week, but I'll need to round out Owen's picky-ness with some additions for him.

Here's what we have planned for this week:

Monday - BBQ Chicken Legs, Corn on the Cob and Baked Beans
Tuesday - Open Face Flounder Sandwiches (based on a Better Homes and Garden recipe)
Wednesday - Grilled Broccoli with Orzo (I may throw in some leftover BBQ chicken)
Thursday - Oven Roasted Shrimp with Tomatoes and Avocados in Lime Dressing
Friday - Homemade Pizza Night
Saturday - YOYO (You're On Your Own)/Leftover Buffet
Sunday - Family Dinner Out
