Menu Plan Monday - 2015 Week 48

Weekly Meal Plan Ideas - Real Food for Real Families

Welcome back for another weekly meal plan post. Each week I share my intentions for making dinner for my family for the week. It's not gourmet, it's just real food for real families. I find that planning out each week allows us to eat healthier and save money as well. By sharing it here each week, I hope that you are inspired to plan meals for your own family.

This week is Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving. I love gathering around that big table at my parent's house, and sharing a big meal with all my favorite people. There's mashed potatoes, wine and plenty of laughter. Inevitably we swap family stories, cart out a few old pictures and update everyone on what we haven't been posting to Facebook. There is no pressure, no gifts, no mess (just dishes) - it's the PERFECT holiday.

With Thanksgiving this week, our meal plan is a little scattered, and we may not follow it too closely, depending on what we have going on. The kids are off all week, and we plan to just enjoy it. But I know me, and I need to have a plan, so here's what we have planned for dinner this week:

Monday -Pan Seared Dumplings over Rice
Tuesday - Ravioli with Garlic Bread
Wednesday - Cheese Burgers, Hot Dogs and Beans
Thursday - Traditional Thanksgiving Feast
Friday - Leftovers
Saturday - Family Dinner Out
Sunday -YOYO (You're On Your Own)

What's for dinner at your house this week?
