Menu Plan Monday - 2015 Week 46

Weekly Meal Plan - Real Food for Real Families

Surprise - my regular Menu Plan Monday is posting on Sunday this week. If you're new to this weekly feature, each Monday I share my intended dinner plans for the upcoming week. I try to stick to "real food" (no boxes, mixes or processed foods) as much as possible, but with keeping real families and their demands in mind.

This is a pretty light week for us as far as evening commitments go. One meeting for me and one for the teenager. I typically don't like to have beef twice in one week, but the kids want tacos and I have a flank steak in there to use too, so beef twice it is.

I think it's important to stay flexible when you're meal planning. It's not always going to work out how you planned, and that's ok. Your plan is a map for the week, and you navigate it to the best of your abilities, based on the challenges that come up. Since you planned, you have all the tools you need!

Here's what we have planned for dinner this week:

Monday - Grilled Flank Steak, Baked Potatoes and Caesar Salad
Tuesday - Taco Tuesday with Corn and Guacamole
Wednesday - Honey-Garlic Slow Cooker Chicken Thighs, Broccoli and Rice
Thursday -Pasta Carbonara with Salad
Friday - Pizza Night
Saturday - YOYO (You're On Your Own)
Sunday - Family Dinner Out

What are you making for dinner this week?

  1. We just tried a similar recipe, Honey Rosemary Chicken Thighs in the slow cooker, and they loved it so much it's going into the regular rotation.
