Incorporating Animal Print Into Your Everyday Style

Leopard, zebra even giraffe prints are making a showing in fall clothes this season. Not the actual fur or hides of course - but an authentic-looking replica of the prints. In this week's everyday style fashion post, let's talk about ways you can incorporate animal prints into what you're wearing right now!

Ideas and Inspiration for incorporating animal prints into your everyday style.
Wearing animal print as your statement piece, like a jacket, dress or skirt, can set the tone for your outfit. Be sure to keep the rest of the outfit in the same tone, and remember that less is more sometimes, particularly with a bold animal print. I wore this the other day to run some errands and attend a meeting. It was casual and comfortable, but still put together.

Another great way to incorporate animal prints is with your accessories. There are tons of shoes, bags and scarves with animal prints in a range of colors and tones. I love these no-lace sneakers from Target last year. They are so comfortable and versatile. They can easily take jeans and a t-shirt to the next level.

Last year I dug out these fun vintage fur collars from my grandmother. I love to wear this one with a plain black cashmere sweater. Again, it's an easy way to upgrade a casual look to the next level.

So there you have some ideas on wearing animal prints. I would love to find a great giraffe print skirt. I think it would look great with a creamy sweater and brown boots. Also a black bag with some leopard on it would be fun.

How are you wearing animal prints this season?
