Menu Plan Monday - 2015 Week 24

Weekly Meal Planning Ideas - Real Food for Real Families

Welcome back for another week of meal plan dinner ideas. This is the spot where I share my plans for feeding my real family, real food. This week we have a few nights out, and some good home-cooked dinners too. We're hoping to grill over the weekend as well.

We have a whole lot of stuff going on around here this week. We are winding down baseball and eighth grade this week, with a big dentist appointment thrown in there for good measure. That's the thing about meal planning, it allows for busy times. You can plan in advance and have something on hand to fit your schedule.

Here's what we're having for dinner this week:

Monday - Last Baseball Game of the season, so there's an after-game pizza party
Tuesday - The MS Band is playing the National Anthem for the Fightin Phils game in Reading
Wednesday - Shrimp Stir Fry, served over rice
Thursday - Penne with Fresh Tomato Sauce
Friday - Homemade Cheesesteaks
Saturday - YOYO (You're On Your Own)
Sunday -  Ribs and Hot Dogs on the Grill, Macaroni Salad, Baked Beans

Pretty easy dinner week on-hand. I'll pick up most of the pieces from Trader Joe's during my weekly trip on Monday. What's for dinner at your house this week?

  1. There's something to be said for a week of easy (but still tasty) meals. Sometimes I think my kiddos prefer the easy meals.

  2. I love YOYO! My girls aren't old enough for that, but I will have to remember it.
