Refresh Your Routine for Back to School

I don't know about you, but for us, this week brings back to school time. That means our laid-back summer vacation routine, is out the door. I need to make sure I have two kids ready to leave the house at two different times heading to two different schools.

Desktop Planning - Refresh Your Routine

I'm working on teaching my kids to prepare as much s possible the night before. Both my husband and I do that as well. Bags get packed and lunches get made the night before. Water bottles and snacks are set-out and ready to go. I like to do a quick schedule check so everyone is on the same page for the day.

It's not perfect, that's for sure. But we do manage to get out of the house on time, with everything we need, clean, neat and presentable on most mornings. A great routine is a combination of simple systems that work for you and your family, and great products, so when The Motherhood asked if I was interested in teaming up to talk about routines with you, I said yes!

With a teenager in the house these days, I'm exploring products to keep his growing and changing body clean, healthy and smelling fresh. (do you have a teen? This is a challenge, right?) As parents we get so used to helping them take baths, showers, brush their teeth, etc. As they get older, we find ourselves having to teach them how to figure it out and get it done on their own - our first shave is right around the corner, I'm sure! We introduce our kids to our favorite products . . .but chances are good they are going to want to experiment on their own to find what works for them. And there are so many great products out there besides!

What are some of your favorite personal care products for back to school?
