Colorful Cardigans for Spring | What I Wore - #OOTD

I wear a lot of neutrals. For me, filling my wardrobe with fashionable and stylish pieces that are classics and in neutral colors, makes getting dressed a lot easier. Think a great white shirt, pair of jeans and pretty sandals.

So, to combat my love of neutrals, I'm trying to add more pops of color. With our changing spring weather this season, I've been doing it with my stack of classic cardigans and colorful scarves. For a while in the 90s, I was obsessed with a classic twinset. What's a twinset you ask? It's a shell or short sleeve knit top or sweater with a matching cardigan. Google them, they are a true classic. Lands End has always been my go-to for twinsets - theirs wear incredibly well, have classic details and don't go out of style.

I have found some more trendy twinsets and even let myself stray to JUST a cardigan at places like the Gap, Loft and Ann Taylor. Today I'm highlighting how I've worn two of my favorites:

Cardigan - Ann Taylor
T-Shirt - Eddie Bauer v-neck
Jeans - Loft Curvy Straight Leg
Scarf - Issac Mizzrahi for QVC
Shoes - Aerosoles
Jewelry - Kate Spade Earrings | Alex and Ani Bracelets

Wear a colorful Cardigan to get ready for Spring!

Twinset - Lands End (yes, from the late 90s most likely)
Jeans - Loft Curvy Straight Leg
Scarf - Boutique find (gift from my mom)
Shoes - Aerosoles
Bag - Kate Spade (my absolute favorite pop of color)
Jewelry - Kate Spade Earrings | Alex and Ani Bracelets

Are cardigans a part of your wardrobe? Are you a twinset style rocker? I'd love to hear your thoughts about these pieces and how you would/do style them!

catch you soon -
