Transition Clothing | What I Wore | #OOTD

This time of the year always takes a toll on my fashion sense and style. The catalogs full of pretty spring clothes are arriving, but there's snow on the ground and the temps are in the 30s. What's a fashion-conscious, clothes-loving girl to do?

Transition.

Easier said then done sometimes, but I stumbled across an outfit idea on Instagram the other day, and decided to try my hand at it with my own closet. Here's what I came up with:

Transitional Outfit - jeans, white shirt, aqua cape, boots

Jeans - Lee Bootcut Jeans
Shirt - Coldwater Creek (I love it because it zips rather than buttons)
Cape/Scarf - Local Boutique (Believe it or not I have seen these in larger Hallmark Stores - they button along the sides for different looks)
Boots - Aerosoles
Jewelry - Ann Taylor Necklace and Alex and Ani bracelets

I'm thinking for next month, when it's a little warmer, switch out boot cut jeans for skinnies, cuff them up and add a pair of leopard heels and a fun bag.

How do you transition from winter to spring?

catch you soon -
