Menu Plan Monday - 2013 Week 50
Wow - so today, we had our first winter storm. While the meteorologists predicted snow, they got the timing, the amounts and the severity wrong. But it makes me think about having a few dishes in the freezer and stocking the pantry a bit for winter. That really would have come in handy last week, when my plan flew out the window.
This week's dishes are all hearty, as it seems winter has arrived in PA. Here's what's on our plan this week:
Monday - Pork Tenderloin, Buttered Noodles and Green Beans
Tuesday - Flank Steak, Roasted Potatoes and Broccoli
Wednesday - Pasta
Thursday - Baked Potato Soup
Friday - Pizza Night
Saturday and Sunday - TBD
Do you keep your pantry more stocked in the winter? How about a stash of stews, soups and lasagna in your freezer?
catch you soon -

We are in AL, and never really have a honest "winter storm" - so my freezer stock is limited. We have mass amounts of deer, hog & fish in the freezer, as well as veggies from the garden, but not really prepared meals. But now I'm craving baked potato soup!
ReplyDeleteI want that soup too. It sounds delicious!
