Menu Plan Monday - 2013 Week 48

This is it. . .Thanksgiving Week. . .probably the biggest food week of the year. I am incredibly blessed, in that my mother prepares a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings every year. And the icing on the cake, is that if I help her clean up, she sends home plenty of leftovers for us too!

My kids are off from school for this entire week, which means the mom-juggle for me. I am also trying to avoid the store as much as possible this week, so we are "lining off the land",  by trying to stick with things we have on-hand.

Here's how it's shaping up for this week:

Monday - Mini Meatloaves
Tuesday - Flank Steak, Potatoes, Broccoli
Wednesday - Pasta with Meatballs
Thursday - Thanksgiving Dinner
Friday - Leftovers
Saturday and Sunday - TBD

Are you cooking for Thanksgiving this week?

catch you soon -

  1. Hi, Hillary! Keeping things simple here, too. Our Thanksgiving meal will actually be on Saturday, but our grown up kids and their families will start rolling in Wed. evening, so having a menu plan in place is a MUST! My simple menu plan includes cleaning out what's in the frig to make room for the yummy holiday foods coming. As far as the Big Dinner goes, everyone brings something to help and we all pitch in and do the work. makes it so much more enjoyable that way.
I am your neighbor at Menu Plan Monday today. Happy Thanksgiving!
