Easy Ways to Decorate Your Home for Fall
I confess, I am a seasonal decorator. I like to change up my interior, based on the season. If you remember, I shared my summer mantle, and now it's time to bring out the fall things.
If you want to add a little seasonal flair to your home, it doesn't have to take much time or money (of course it can, should you want to go that route - be sure to share!) Now I'm going to share a little of my OCD/Type-A tendencies with you . . .are you ready?
Fall and Halloween have different components. I know. . .but bear with me. For Fall, I use pumpkins, turkey feathers, apples, candles and decor in fall colors and motifs. When Halloween gets closer, I add jack-o-lanterns and ghosts. Then on November 1st, the jack-o-lanterns and ghosts get put away, but the rest of the Fall decorations can satay out through Thanksgiving.I may add a turkey or two also, I'm working on finding some nice ones.
If you don't decorate for the season, this probably seems like way too much work for you . . .but take a look at this little video and see how easy it can be:
So as you can see, with a few inexpensive supplies, you can change the look and feel of your room for the Fall season.
Hang a Fall wreath on your front door, put some mums on your front step, and you are all ready to go. It doesn't have to be difficult, elaborate or expensive.
How do you decorate for Fall?
