Menu Plan Monday - 2013 Week 27
Well here it is July already. I'm not sure about you, but for me, time is simply racing ahead at a breakneck speed. Some days, I would like to slow it down, and savor the time we have a little more.
This is one of those weeks for me. With the holiday, the kids are home from camp. Even though summer reading and match packets are calling, I want us to have time to enjoy each other, the summer and just being a family.
With that in mind, planning our dinners takes a little effort up front, but cuts down on the prep time I spend before dinner each night. There's not a lot of opening cabinets and wondering what to make. I can take something out to thaw int he morning, or even pick up a finishing touch while we are out for the day. . .all because I have a plan.
Speaking of plans, here is our plan for this week:
Monday - Stuffed Flounder (frozen from Trader Joe's) with a Quinoa & Veggie Side
Tuesday - Sausage and Pepper Pasta
Wednesday - Chicken Cutlets
Thursday - 4th of July Cookout
Friday - Pizzettes on the Grill
Saturday & Sunday - TBD
If you are in the US - Happy 4th of July. Either way, what on your plan this week?
catch you soon -

ReplyDeleteYour menu sounds delicious, especially that flounder!
ReplyDeleteHappy July 4th to you and yours! I hope you're not experiencing record breaking temps like we are in Las Vegas!
ReplyDeleteStuffed Flounder sounds very good! I might have to check those out at Trader Joe's. Happy 4th to you!
