Skincare is such an important part of looking your best. I remember as a teenager, going to the drugstore with my mom and purchasing an entire line of skincare products. When I got a little older, she took me to the cosmetics counter at the department store. I loved listening to the skincare expert tell me about my skin and its needs.
I was in heaven. From the first time I saw those jars lined up along the vanity, I was a lotions and potions girl.
I've tried a lot of brands and a lot of formulas over the years. Most people will tell you it's more the act of taking care of your skin, than the actual product, but I believe it is a combination of both.
A few months ago, I received some Theraderm products from Therapon to review. As I am into my 40s, my skin is changing, and I want a skincare line that will help me ward off the signs of aging as long as possible.
Within a month, I could see changes. My monthly break-out sessions went from 1-3 large blemishes, to 1-2 small and hardly noticeable blemishes. . .some months with none at all. It may be wishful thinking, but the lines between my eyebrows seem less noticeable as well.
The products are easy to use, have a pleasant light scent, and leave my skin feeling fantastic! Each night before bed, I go through the 4-step routine. It takes about 5 minutes. Once a week I include the NuPeel Natural Enzyme Peel, after I get out of the shower.
In the morning, I do a quick rinse, sometimes use the OPC Reparative Gel, and a light moisturizer with sunscreen, then on to my 8-minute face.
Here's a little video I put together about how to use the system.
So do you have a skincare routine? What products are your favorite right now?

note - I received a skincare kit to facilitate my review. As always, all opinions are my very own.
I love the Theraderm products. Just ran out of one of the items in the line and need to reorder asap.
