menu plan Monday. . .
a new year brings resolutions and pledges for change. . .but one thing I am NOT changing is my commitment to meal planning. this one simple procedure, cuts down on our food bills, my stress levels, and the amount of unhealthy foods we eat.
meal planning works - it doesn't have to be hard. . .I jot my ideas on the last block of a weekly calendar. . .sometimes I don't have a recipe, just a main ingredient. the important part for me is that i have a game plan.
so here is our game plan for the first week of 2012:
Monday - Spaghetti & Meatballs
Tuesday - Chilli and Hot Dogs for the kids
Wednesday - Roast Chicken, Veggie & Potatoes
Thursday - Shrimp
Friday - Pizza Night
Saturday & Sunday - TBD (Chicken Soup if it's chilly!)
