menu plan Monday |
on a recommendation from Ali Edwards - I reserved a copy of The Family Dinner: Great Ways to Connect With Your Kids, One Meal at a Time from my local library.
the book is amazing - I love Laurie David's style and wit. her ideas are simple and the recipes sound delicious. it's a life-changing book - even if you and your family only implement 1 or 2 ideas.
so this week - several of my recipes come from that book. in addition, we have moved back into the dining room to eat most of our dinners together (a second step after moving dinner time back so John has a chance to get home). I also plan to play more music while I'm cooking and get the kids involved a little more.
here's our plan:
Monday - Speedy Pasta in a Pan, Garlic Bread and Ceasar Salad
Tuesday - Soy-Good Maple-Glazed Salmon, wild rice and green beans
Wednesday - Tacos for kids and Taco Salads for grown-ups
with guacamole
Thursday - Take Out or Leftovers because Mamma's going out
Friday - TBD (typically a take-out night)
Saturday - TBD
Sunday - Bang Bang Chicken Parmesan
what's on your plan?
catch you soon -
