so let me start by saying how GRATEFUL i am that we are not a "sick" family. . .
the boys rarely go to the Dr's for anything besides well visits & John and I are blessed with fairly good health. . .
now having said that. . .you may know that John survived a stroke last summer and I am happy to report his recovery has been nearly 100% and he is doing so well.
in february, ryan contracted a virus called HS-Purpura . . .never heard of it? really? no, I hadn't either. . .and after 6 weeks of cycling symptoms - I wish I still had never heard of it. but again, i am happy to report that he is on the mend and has been a REAL trooper through this.
i was out of commission yesterday with a temperature of 103 . . .delirious (or more so than usual) but back in the swing of things today.
i send prayers and admiration for those that deal with chronic and debilitating illness. . .i know that well do what we must do - but it take a special person to handle it with grace and dignity.
hope you and your family are on the healthy track these days!
catch you soon -
