Neighborhood Toy Store Day

Have you ever shopped at a neighborhood toy store?

did you know tomorrow is  Neighborhood Toy Store Day?

According to the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association's Press Release:

      “By setting aside the second Saturday in November as a special time for families to enjoy their local toy stores, we hope to launch the holiday season with some community-minded fun,” said Kathleen McHugh, ASTRA’s Executive Director. “Neighborhood Toy Store Day will highlight the importance of independent toy stores not only to children and their families—but to their local areas as well, while announcing ASTRA’s Best Toys for Kids Award list for 2010.”

We are lucky enough to have a wonderful neighborhood toy store within 2 miles (walking distance) of our house.  O'Doodles is planning a day of fun with a special visit from Elmo. 

so if you have a neighborhood toys store - be sure to check it out tomorrow.
