who wants to go to Blogher anyway??
not me. . .why would i want to ride on a bus or the train with a bunch of totally fun ladies to NYC?
why would i want to go shopping for a new dress and cute day-time outfits?
why would i want to wig-out trying to have the cutest shoes EVAH?
why would i want to meet some of my "sheros" of the digital and SM world?
. . .sniffle. . .pout. . .foot stamping. . .whining. . .
BECAUSE IT SOUNDS SOOOOOO AWESOME!!
ok - seriously - i was not overly familiar with Blogher until it got much closer and became mentioned in every other tweet in my stream. it sounds like a pretty awesome opportunity - i'm looking forward to some of the "take homes" that will get tweeted and blogged about - the nuggets of information that can make us all better bloggers.
so thanks to Tina, I felt it was ok to rant about not going - and join in on the Pity Party
how about you? are you home and sulking too? or living it up in NYC?
catch you soon -
Would have loved for you to be with all of us ... we'll miss you!
ReplyDeleteI am so bummed too! I have to turn off Twitter for the next few days because it makes me so disappointed! Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteI know. And I HAD a ticket, hotel room..BLEH. Everything happens for a reason though. Let's take a road trip and go to Type A mom! Wanna?!?! I heard it's awesome and oh-so-intimate!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. TOTALLY not bitter though... :)
ReplyDeleteHillary, I feel you. Last year I met a woman that said to me, "I am presenting at BlogHer". I was like, "ooook, whatever that is". NOW I KNOW!!! Next year is our year.
