today i went into my giant box in the garage, gathered all the pieces to the discovery airport, cleaned them up with my clorox all-surface cleaner, and put in new batteries. . .
the result - a happy almost-3-YO
not all toys are made well enough to hold up and operate like new after 7 years - but it is so heart-warming to come across one of them. . .and it's like taking a trip to the toy store without spending any money. . .and we all know that these days, that can be a good thing.
